Our Story
ethanscards started as a passion project born from a lifelong love of Yu-Gi-Oh!. What began as trading cards with friends at school grew into an eBay store serving thousands of satisfied customers across the UK.
After building a strong reputation on eBay with over 6,000 positive reviews, we decided it was time to create a dedicated home for our store. Welcome to ethanscards.co.uk — the same trusted service, now with better prices and an improved shopping experience.

Some people fell in love with Yu-Gi-Oh! through Blue-Eyes or Dark Magician. Me? I fell for a floating disco ball angel with 1800 ATK and a God complex. Herald doesn't win games with flashy attacks — it wins by making your opponent put their head in their hands. Every Fairy in your hand is another “nope”, and trust me, there's always another Fairy.
The community calls it “Herald of No”for a reason. Is it fair? Absolutely not. Is it my favourite card of all time? Absolutely yes. This rainbow orb of pure denial is what got me hooked on Yu-Gi-Oh!, and honestly… it probably says a lot about me as a person.
Special mentions: my girlfriend insisted I shout out Kuribon— the ribbon-wearing Kuriboh cousin from Ancient Prophecy that's somehow even cuter than the original — and Rescue Cat, the adorable little menace that got itself banned for a decade before earning a redemption arc and an errata. One heals your opponent to save your skin, the other needed the banlist to calm it down. We don't judge favourites in this house.

When I'm not telling people their cards are Near Mint (and meaning it), you'll usually find me deep in Crimson Desert or reminiscing about my competitive Rainbow Six Siege days — yes, I was that guy holding angles for three minutes straight. I peaked in Siege the same way I peaked at Yu-Gi-Oh!: by refusing to let anyone else have fun.
Music-wise, I'm all over the place: Fontaines DC and The Hives for when I need energy, Tame Impala and Empire of the Sunfor the vibes, old school hip hop for the soul, and drum and bass for when the orders are flying out. My music taste, much like my card grading, is impeccable — and I will not be taking questions on that.

IRLThe Crew Behind the Cards
First up, the real bosses of ethanscards: our black and white cat Fabio, who is less than impressed with the two kittens we've recently added to the family — ‘Yugi’ and ‘Oreo’. Take ‘Yugi’ and add the ‘O’ from Oreo's name and you get Yugi-O… get it? Fabio spends most of his time giving them the cold shoulder, but we're quietly confident he'll come around. Eventually.

Looking ahead, we're planning to come to card shows, do card visits, and keep expanding our community throughout 2026 — shoutout to everyone who joined the first ever livestream, you lot are the reason we keep going. We're also thinking about launching a Discord communitywhere we can properly chat to our followers, share pulls, and hang out.
